Hi Ara,
I finally found some time to try and catch up since I saw you last in Watertown. So that's what you've been up too. Reading through some of the emails people have sent you, it is wonderful to see how you have touched and inspired listeners and musicians, alike. I always knew you would. Stay in touch.

I think, it was on the 70's, on your birthday night, when I first heard you playing guitar in Montreal with your dad (vocal), Mr Barsamian (oud), the late B Sohigian (dumbeg) and Karnig Meghitarian (clarinet). Hope, you kept some "cassettes" with you, to remember that remarkable event. Onnik said: "...and I want to present you this young person, but not because we have the same name, but because he will become, in the future, one of the best musicians in America. This is Ara Dinkjian, my son, on guitar".
Thank you for this fine chance to be in contact with you via your website. I am feeling lucky!
Take care, Ara.

I don't know English very well so I'll write Turkish.. sevgili ara tüm eserleri bilmem ama bir Ahmet kaya hayranı olduğumdan Ağladıkça eserini araştırdığımda sizin olduğunu öğrenince büyük bir hayranlık duydum. sizi tebrik ederim şu ana kadar Ahmet kaya eseri biliyorduk. ayrıca Kraliçemiz Sezen Aksuyla çalışmalarınız da mükemmel. Keşke Türkiye de sizin gibi sanatçılar olsa ve müziğe zevkle dinlesek. şimdilerde müziğimiz epey kirlendi. iyi sanatçılar da tükeniyor.

Hello Ara,
I'm an Israeli oud player, and a great fan of your's, and am proud to have been to both your concerts in The Jerusalem oud festival, this year with your father, and last year. They were both excellent and were the crown jewel of the festival.
Thank you,

I am a Jordanian American and I play the oud also. You are one fine musician. But I would like to ask you, when you play in Jerusalem, how do the Palestinian crowd receive your music? It would be great if you could dedicate a song or music to the Palestinans who are suffering under Zionist occupation.

ello Ara,
congratulations on your website and new cd, "An Armenian in America": it features, among other things, fantastic live versions of "Anna Tol' Ya", "The Invisible Lover", "The Long Goodbye" & "Offering" and an excellent virtuosity on oud. I heard Night Ark on stage five years ago in Rome (La Palma), during an European tour; after 1st set we talked about your emotional musical world and then you signed my own "In Wonderland" cd ... do you remember? Thank you Ara and all the best.
